CAMPING:
Beacon Rock State Park has 25 camping sites, with central bathrooms, showers, and running water close by. These camp grounds are tucked up in the trees, well away from Hwy 14, and are just a few minutes' walk to the Wicked Gorge Race HQ. These sites are non-reservable, available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Due to the small number of sites available, the rangers there will not allow campsites to be held for another party, and are quite careful in enforcing this. Maximum of 8 people and two vehicles at each site. Only a few RV sites. Beacon Rock camp sites are popular, and will likely be filled by noon on Friday for the weekend, so if you want to try to get a camp site, the Park Rangers recommend you show up no later than noon. For camping information, please see the Beacon Rock State Park site; Lewis & Clark RV Park is located 2.5 miles from Beacon Rock State Park. They have 75 sites - primarly for RV Parking/Camping. However, you can rent an RV site and put a tent on it to camp overnight. The fee is $16/night. Contact them at:

Although it's on the Oregon side of the Columbia River, it's a stone's throw from the Bridge of the Gods (.75 cent toll to cross the bridge in either direction), the closest decent motel to the park, and you may get an amazing view of the Columbia River from your room (ask when you make your reservation).
