Portland, OR (September 30, 2004) - Wicked Adventure Racing was officially formed with LLC status in the State of Oregon today. The company is founded by PDX Adventure Racer CoFounder Shane Gibson and his partner Kathleen O'Neill. The companies goal is to produce high quality sports events primarily in the Adventure Racing format. The company plans to produce races in the Northwestern US states, primarily Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

Company founder Shane Gibson says "I grew frustrated with the lack of races in the Northwest. I love racing and helping others get into the sport. It has been tough to find races in our homefront that provide a venue for new racers and also for those experienced racers looking for a quality race." The company is looking forward to the inaugural 2005 racing season.
