Racing Resume

Hometown: Portland, OR
Began adventure racing: 2002
DOB: 2/10/69
Education: BA Business, Pacific University, OR

Renee began adventure racing after getting bored with triathlons, after getting bored with marathons. Even before then, she competed in many trail and off-trail races and really enjoyed running through the woods. She knew it was a fun race if she was muddy at the finish. After learning to mountain bike, climb mountains and rocks, adventure racing was a natural next step – she hasn’t gotten bored with it at all. Renee’s competed in events of varying distance and duration, but enjoys the 8-12 hour courses the most.
